The most famous and common type of conference interpreting is simultaneous interpreting.
In this type of interpreting, the professional –the interpreter– works inside a sound-proof booth where she or he translates the speaker's message from the original to the target language on the fly.
The oldest (conference) interpreting mode is consecutive interpreting.
In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter takes notes of the speaker's message while she or he is talking and then, once the speaker has finished, the interpreter reproduces the message in the target language.
Hundreds of different languages are spoken in this world we live in. Let me help you overcome the communication barriers between a handful of them. I have translated legal and legal documents, political reports, websites and I most recently translated a book for teenagers.
