In the field

I am an accredited conference interpreter at the European Institutions (ACI) since January 2016.

Established as a conference interpreter in January 2014, I set my professional address in Barcelona for the first years. Then, in summer 2015 I moved to Germany and one year later, in June 2016, decided to definitively change my professional address to Frankfurt am Main.
I work according to the aiic professional standards.

I also currently give a course on translation German-Spanish at the Instituto Cervantes Frankfurt.

Former lecturer for conference interpreting at various universities: Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (FTSK Germersheim), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universtitat Pompeu Fabra.

Previous experience

Before that, I had been a project manager at a local translation agency in Barcelona, I had also worked in the customer service department of two big major companies and had been a proofreader for a local newspaper.

My ever first professional experience was at 16 as a carer and nursing assistant in the local old people’s home in my hometown.
